Fashion Forward Criminals

(BLOOMINGTON) – Two Bloomington teens are facing robbery charges after another teen says he was robbed of a $100 Michael Kors belt at gunpoint.
The teen reported the robbery on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. and told police he knew the assailants.
Bloomington Police say the teen had purchased the belt at a Columbus mall and then posted the pictures on social media.
The 17-year-old offered to buy the belt, but the victim refused and so the fashionable teen stole it.
Police say during a search of the 17-year-old’s home police found the box for the belt and a handgun, he was arrested on a charge of robbery and is being held in a juvenile detention center.
Police then arrested 19-year-old Tyrell Williams of Bloomington after police found him wearing the stolen belt. He was also found in possession of a handgun. He was booked into the Monroe County Jail at 5:24 a.m. Thursday. Police did not say if the belt was white, since it is after Labor Day and wearing a white belt after Labor Day would certainly be a crime.
